The emerging role of the forensic engineer

Abstract

Within the field of engineering is a subspecialty devoted to serving the legal profession. The author examines the need for the functions of the new breed of forensic engineer, who applies recognized principles of engineering toward resolution of various questions facing lawyers, judges, and juries.
