Multi-use: Reshaping technical material

Abstract

The multi-use concept involves avoiding duplication of effort by reshaping existing technical material for a variety of audiences and applications including reports, brochures, conference papers, magazine articles, and seminars. The authors discuss multi-use, present some guidelines for converting one form into another, and provide an example of how a document can be reshaped for various purposes.
