Abstract

Technical articles get written and published by decision rather than by default. To realize the benefits of image and recognition which publication can provide, a company should develop procedures to (1) generate, accumulate, and review ideas for technical articles; (2) obtain and record commitments for writing the best of these; (3) encourage and track progress; and (4) help the participants learn to be authors. The writing program at The Badger Company is described.
