The importance of the spoken image

Abstract

This article deals with the common image of the engineer as a cold, unfeeling speaker and shows how the myth can be dispelled by the improvement of the spoken image, the total effect of how a person expresses himself in speech. The reader is offered suggestions for reparing and delivering a technical paper as well as handling question and answer sessions.
