Good habits before filing a patent application

Abstract

Valuable patent rights can be lost before filing a patent application. Inventors should know how to minimize the loss that can occur because of too much disclosure or because of too much secrecy. Inventors must avoid premature public disclosures, keep good records, get good witnesses, and work diligently to perfect their inventions.
