Abstract

This is a guide for the content and organization of information that should be in a standards manual for an information systems department. Areas covered are basic to the operation and control of management information systems (MIS); policy and objectives; job descriptions and organization chart; documentation of several kinds; project management standards for designing, programming, and flowcharting and operational procedures.
