Abstract

Students in the Stanford School of Engineering's Design Division are lucky to study with Professor James L. Adams and to learn the methods of smashing mental blocks to solve engineering design problems. The rest of us are lucky to be able to read Conceptual Blockbusting, which Adams and his colleague, Professor Robert McKim, originated from their presentations.
