Abstract
It is shown how the staff of a publications department can contribute to the efforts of experienced, as well as new, marketing specialists. The activities of the publications staff are summarized, with suggestions on how to hold down costs and meet publishing schedules for marketing materials. Types of marketing publications are reviewed, with suggestions on how to make them more effective.
