    This is an excellent anthology. In an already crowded textbook field it easily ranks with the best, and in some respects it is perhaps the very best sophomore anthology on the market. To call it a sophomore anthology is to be unfair to its more-than-generous offerings. There are nearly 2,400 pages in the two-volume edition, and more than 1,200 in the Edition.
