Abstract
A speaker owes it to his audience to make his presentation as interesting and as understandable as possible. One way a talk can be improved is through the use of visual aids. The values and pitfalls of audiovisual presentation are discussed and eight tips are offered for imparting information quickly and effectively with good visual aids. A short bibliography is included.
