Abstract

This paper covers the skills necessary to effectively communicate technical information. Practical advice on preparing for and delivering oral presentations is given. Included are selections on understanding yourself and your audience; stating the prerequisite and objective of the presentation; organizing your material; making your own charts; using the overhead projector and chalkboard; tackling preliminary arrangements; and delivering the presentation.
