Article Titles as Tools of Communication

Abstract

With the volume of journal and magazine articles as great as it is, anything that will clarify article content will be appreciated by readers. This paper deals specifically with article titles. It shows how a title should contain maximum information in a minimum of words. Several examples from scientific articles are provided.
